ALWAYS ENSURE THAT YOUR ORDER PACKAGING IS SEALED WHEN BEING HANDED TO YOU BY THE DELIVERY DRIVER. In case of missing or incorrect orders, you need to take a clear picture of the order and immediately report the problem to rescueBite support to find out if you are eligible for a refund or to have the order or missing items replaced.

1. Cancellation Policy


WHEN CAN YOU CANCEL AN ORDER WITHOUT CHARGE?

An order can be cancelled for a refund before the restaurant has accepted it. To cancel an order, tap "Cancel Order" in the order tracking screen.


HOW CAN YOU CANCEL AFTER THE RESTAURANT HAS ACCEPTED YOUR ORDER?

If you would like to cancel your order after the restaurant has accepted it, you would need to immediately reach out to our rescueBite support team. This option will appear when your order is live. Our support team will then contact the restaurant to confirm the cancellation. Please note, if the restaurant has begun preparing your order we would be unable to cancel it without a charge.


2. Steps To Cancel Your Order


HOW TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER:

1. On the menu bar, tap the receipt icon.

2. Select your ongoing order.

3. In the order screen, tap "CANCEL ORDER".

4. A pop-up appears to confirm your action, tap "CANCEL ORDER" again.

5. After confirming, select a cancellation reason, then tap "DONE".

NOTE: If you cancel your order AFTER the restaurant started preparing it, you may not be eligible for a refund.

Besides immediate cancellations, you may get a refund from rescueBite for mistakes made by the restaurant or delivery staff, including:

1. Missing items.

2. Incorrect items.

3. Incorrect order.

4. Late orders.

The amount of time the order takes to fix will depend on the restaurant and the courier. You should always include a photo of your order and the exact dish, especially if there is a wrong item. This can help reduce the amount of time it takes to fix a rescueBite order problem, because it makes it especially clear what the issue is (and provides proof, in the form of a photo).

 

Most times, a new order is placed to have the missing item sent or the wrong item replaced. This does not cost you any extra delivery fees, and it will be delivered to you. However, rescueBite and the restaurant can decide that they are simply going to issue a refund (for the cost of the incorrect or missing rescueBite items). You will be notified of what option is selected by email, SMS or by app notification.
